Still in France, still loving it! And what better way to keep this flame going than spending the weekend in two beautiful cities: Rouen and Carnac. As we've left Tours and headed towards the ocean, we've decided to spend a cosy weekend in these authentic and magnificent French towns.
Today, September 12, we are going to be in Rouen. The historic capital city of Normandy, and a charming city on the river Seine, Rouen will host our VITA van at “OKXO” store (63 rue Ganterie). Come meet us there between 11.00 and 16.00. And if you wonder why this city seems familiar from your history classes, we are going to refresh your memory – it was the seat of the Anglo-Norman dynasties and the place where the famous Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc) was executed, in 1431. A city with a rich history and culture – such a joy to have included it on our VITA lighting European Tour list.
Tomorrow, September 13, our VITA Van will head to Carnac. With a wonderful seaside location, and with its renown for the Carnac stones – one of the world’s largest Neolithic collection of menhirs and dolmens stones – Carnac is going to be our home on Sunday. Find us at “La vie en arts” (34 Rue Saint-Cornély), between 8:00 and 12:00.We hope to see as many of you during this weekend, and to share with you some of the VITA magic.
